Praveena Hoon, aged 78 years, belongs to an eminent family of Nandas from Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. Her fascination for Fairy Tales & Nursery Rhymes began in her early childhood. She completed her Masters from Miranda House, Delhi University, Delhi. Her keenness towards cuisines developed after her marriage to Ex-Major General Hari Nath Hoon and gradually while globetrotting with her family.To her credit are several cookery shows on TV which eventually led her to be a winner of Sanjeev Kapoor’s Khana Khazana show. Apart from cooking, her pastimes are gardening, specializing in growing herbs, exotic veggies and hybrid roses.

Chandna Singh Nirwan

Ms. Chandna Singh Nirwan, Ex Assistant Professor, St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur, graduated with Honors in English Literature from International College for Girls, University of Rajasthan in 2011. She completed her Masters in English Literature & Communication Studies at Christ University, Bangalore. Her primary interests are reading and interpreting and critically writing about major works of English Literature. Ms. Chandna, a theater and dramatics enthusiast has run a certificate course, Theater-in-Education at St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur for several years. She has been trained in Playback and Proscenium forms of theater.

J P Gupta, an octogenarian, belongs from a small town Nawalpur, in Deoria District (eastern Uttar Pradesh). After formal education from Kanpur, shifted base to Jharia (Dhanbad) for a living. He retired from Coal India Ltd. As Dy. Chief Mining Working.

After a long stint of working he took to reading and writing. To his credit is a biography on life and society in Coal Mines; a poetry book on various themes; a compilation on values and ethics extracted from Ramayana; Quotable quotes and few more.

Dr. Meenakshi Saxena ‘kehkashan’

Dr. Meenakshi, is a gold medallist in MA Hindi, MA & Doctorate holder in Chitrakala. Currently is an Associate Professor and HOD of Hindi Department, MMH College Ghaziabad

A familiar name as a writer, poetess, playwright and philosopher, Dr. Meenakshi has a versatile personality in forms of Poetry collection, Idea collection, Story collection, Drama. She has been honored in different programs on International Women’s Day by Gandharva Music College, Advent Institute and Tansen Social Welfare Association. She has been awarded “Samaj Gaurav Samman” for her special contribution by Tathagata Shakyamuni Gautambudh Institutions. Her works have been published in Metro Life newspapers and many other magazines. Her association with Little Theater Group has been over two decades. Even today, she is involved in the practice of Hindi literature with her precious writings.
